What is BSides CDMX?
Free information security conference in Mexico City, organized by and for the community.
Our mission
BSides CDMX started because the cybersecurity community in Mexico needed a place where local technical work could be presented and discussed seriously.
It's free for attendees, run by volunteers, and funded by sponsors who understand the deal: no corporate influence, no commercial content disguised as a technical talk.
Depth is the filter for every edition. If a talk doesn't teach something you can't already find online, it doesn't make the cut.
What is BSides?
The Security BSides movement began in 2009, when part of the DEF CON community organized a parallel event alongside the main conferences. Today there are more than 100 BSides events worldwide.
BSides CDMX is the Mexico City chapter: same global network, its own identity, and a focus on what happens here, with the threats and the talent of Mexico and LATAM.
Security BSides is a global framework for community-organized security conferences, created in 2009. BSides CDMX is the Mexico City chapter.
