Although we’d love to, we cannot afford to pay for travel or accommodation expenses. Depending on our sponsorship we could negotiate hotel discounts or lower fares only. We really appreciate those foreign speakers who have come and will come to share with the Mexican community!
We’re working very hard to get this done and make it a must every year. Workshops are hard to be recorded in a format that a remote attendee can leverage, however, for talks we plan to archive recordings and slides if possible.
Security BSides events are for participants only; meaning that everyone must collaborate either by asking questions, presenting on a topic, talk with others, meeting new friends, or helping out in anyway you can, aka. make community with others!
All help is well appreciated! There are multiple ways to support BSides CDMX:
- Have something to share? Submit your call for papers or workshops!
- Spread the voice; repost our announcements, news, and info related to the event
- Let us know if your organization and BSides CDMX can work together as part of a sponsorship and get mutual benefits
- Submit for volunteering when the call for volunteers opens
- Help to whoever needs help within the infosec community, before, during, and after any infosec conference/event/forum, etc.
- If BSides CDMX once helped you to your career or any aspect in your live, pls share that with us!
- And many more…
Certainly nope!. Each event is organized with different contexts, presenters, audience, and a different vibe, you should try more than one if you have the opportunity.
There is no minimum age to participate in the event. The only requirement is to collaborate and respect the community. It’s a different story for the afterparty, you must be old enough to drink or not drink at all. However, depending on the afterparty venue you may not enter if under age.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us at contact@bsidescdmx.org if you have any further questions or in our social media @bsidescdmx.
